Vanilla Ice Cream with Honey and Red Kampot Pepper
Best pepper to use: Red Kampot Pepper
Servings: 1–2 servings
Total time: 5 minutes
Best for: easy dessert, dinner parties, tasting menu, quick product demo
This is one of the easiest ways to show how Red Kampot Pepper works in a dessert. The vanilla ice cream is cold and creamy, the honey adds sweetness, and the pepper brings warmth and aroma at the end.
It should not taste spicy. The goal is to add a small, warm finish that makes the vanilla and honey taste deeper.
Ingredients
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1–2 teaspoons honey
Tiny pinch of freshly cracked Red Kampot Pepper
Pinch of flaky salt, optional
Crushed toasted nuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Scoop the ice cream
Place vanilla ice cream in a small bowl or dessert glass.
2. Add honey
Drizzle honey over the ice cream.
Start with 1 teaspoon, then add more if you want it sweeter.
3. Add Red Kampot Pepper
Crack a very small amount of Red Kampot Pepper over the top.
Use less than you think you need. The pepper should be subtle, warm, and aromatic.
4. Finish and serve
Add a tiny pinch of flaky salt or toasted nuts if using.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh pepper: Red Kampot Pepper is best when cracked right before serving.
Keep it subtle: Too much pepper can overpower the ice cream. A tiny crack is enough.
Try it with: vanilla bean ice cream, honey ice cream, caramel ice cream, or coconut ice cream.
